Dear Friends,

Hopefully you’ve had a great start to 2016. Your North Alabama ATD Chapter has hit the ground running for 2016. With a new Board of Directors in place, we have been busy. I wanted to update all of you on some important events and news.

We’ve planned some excellent luncheon events for the year. The first quarter of events are on our website.

  • Your Guide to Executive Coaching with elite Executive Coach, Anita Kirkman – February 16, 11:30am at Redstone Federal Credit Union, Wynn Drive

  • ATD North Alabama was selected as the Chapter of the Month for January. Go to our website www.atdnal.organd read the article. This is the first time we’ve won this award.

We have created one of our best programs ever entitled, “Next Level – 5 Sessions Designed to Get You Unstuck in Moving Forward and Upward in Your Career.”

Ever been stuck in a job? How about your career? No upward mobility where you work? Need a change? Are you Mentoring other employees or friends? Are you responsible for designing and developing a program at your company to address this problem? If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions, then you need to sign up for our "Next Level Program".  Each session will be conducted by Subject Matter Experts in each aspect of Career Development. Guest Speakers include Joe Newberry, CEO of Redstone Federal Credit Union and Vinny Boles, US Army Major General, Author, and Consultant.

We are giving our friends and members the opportunity to save BIG by buying a package deal for all 5 sessions. Purchasing the package option will save members $50 from paying for each session individually. Non-members can save $75, and Students can save $25 for all sessions.

If a package option is purchased there will be no refund foray session missed. So make sure you attend all the sessions. The early-bird/reduced price package option will only be available until February29, 2016, then the package price increases.

This is an evening program in the months of March, June, August, September, and October. More information can be found at

ATD North Alabama had a great 2015, but we are Making 2016Better! Will you join us?
